Beth Dvorak
Program Director
I ‘m Beth Dvorak, Program Director at New Foundation Center. I have worked in social service for over 15 years. I have been at New Foundation Center for only a short time, since April 2009. I most recently worked at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois for 11 years. I supervised Linkage Case Management and other outreach/engagement type services. Some of my other work has included program development, hiring and training, education for families and communities, building relationships with inpatient settings and other agencies and direct service. I also spent several years at Trilogy where I was an outreach/case management case coordinator. I also worked with behavior disordered children and adolescents. I have interest in the recovery movement and am glad to find an agency that shares my beliefs. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and received a Master’s in Human Services from Concordia University. I am eager to see how my knowledge and skills can be utilized at New Foundation Center.
Jay Roth
Residential Services Director
I’m Jay Roth, Director of Residential Services. I have worked in mental-health residential treatment for 12 years, first as a case-manager and supervisor at Trilogy and then here at New Foundation Center starting in May, 2007. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University. I am a former musician, having played the drums in rock bands throughout Chicago in my mid-twenties. Currently my “spare” time is spent taking care of my two kids, aged three and six-months, with my wife Shannon.
Cindy DeMarco
PSR Team Leader
Hi, I’m Cindy DeMarco and I’ve been with New Foundation Center since September 2001 and I am currently the PSR (psychosocial rehabilitation) Team Leader. I’m one of those people who stumbled into social work and couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else. I’ve always known that I wanted to help people reach their goals, find the right path for themselves and join them for that journey and at New Foundation Center we do just that. By education and training I have a MSW with a mental health concentration and I am a LCSW but when I walk into New Foundation Center I am able to be what I truly am….an advocate, a supporter, a cheerleader and a friend.
